Description
Love thy neighbor. Lovingkindness. The love of the universe. From traditional religions to new spirituality, love is the foundation on which all practice rests. We all embrace the idea of love … and then we get on social media. Or read the news. Or visit family.
Whether divided by race, gender, sexual orientation, identity preference, or opinion, the incredible moral and social chasms in our world have become a source of pain and confusion for so many people. We know that love and unity are beautiful ideals, but the question remains: How do we get there?
In what may be his boldest and bravest work yet, bestselling author Matt Kahn invites us to see our differences as golden opportunities to explore the depth of our interconnectedness. Offering wise insights and tangible tools, Matt teaches us how to remain aligned with our highest truths and values while we hold space for the experiences of others.
Throughout the program, Matt shares ten essential principles—mercy, worthiness, bravery, and more—that help us access the highest and most loving qualities within ourselves and those around us. Each chapter contains personal stories and real-world applications, guiding us to reach into our own hearts and give one another the respect, validation, and encouragement needed to make it through the evolutionary shifts before us—shifts into greater unity and greater love.

This was such a calming and soothing read. Perfect if you enjoy mantras, affirmations, and a gentle reminder to slow down. I listened to the audiobook, and the author did a great job narrating it himself.
I really liked the part about the ten attributes for holding space—things like encouragement, validation, patience, and forgiveness. It was a beautiful reminder to be kind to ourselves and others.
A peaceful, reflective read 💛
The author did the audiobook, so it was new for me and did so well!

Not the kind I would normally read but it was just a big warm hug in my ears to listen to! I very much enjoyed it.

Author Matt Kahn has written this book in the hopes that it will help people in their relationships with others. He applies principles that he learned over time that have been beneficial to him. His book describes those principles and a little of how he learned them.
His narration is well done. His voice is calming without being boring. The book is divided into sections that go over the various principles that he espouses. Each section has a few chapters that add a little more to practicing those principles as it goes along.
I had a few issues with this book that I really am not gonna go into in this review. While I feel it was well written, I think the material itself is a little more broadly spiritual in nature than it needs to be.
3 1/2 stars is my rating. This book wasn’t for me, but it may be for you. My thanks to the author and publisher.

I heard it said that you should be the love you are craving because most likely the people you come across are craving that love aswell. This book felt like that. It was about being kind and just holding space for others no matter what they are going through or our personal opinions on their lives. This book was encouraging to me because i believe that empathy and holding space for others changes peoples days/lives. All in all I’m here for this.
***BUT I was a big part of the church for a long time and I had a really bad experience with Christian’s specifically. So I do agree with this premise of loving others, holding space and empathy. I firmly believe compassion is the only way to live. I do not hold all of the religious views.
Thank you Matt Kahn and NetGalley for this book. I recieved a free copy of this book on exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
“No matter what has happened, everything is made right in the end.”
All For Love by Matt Kahn truly is a lovely and transformative read. I’m so glad I read this book as I feel like it will help guide me in all aspects and relationships in my life. I am a people pleaser and have a deep need to fix people, which I know comes from my own hurt inner child. This book has truly changed the way I think about things. It helps me to realize that I can’t control or fix other people and I shouldn’t. Every single person has a journey of growth and transformation. What a blessing that it is that we are all different. We just need to stay open and positive and not take things too personally. There are tons of awesome affirmations that I will continue to use. I loved this book so much that immediately after reading it, I bought a brand new copy from Amazon (even though I have the audiobook) as I know I will revisit this again and again. I see the intrinsic value of holding space and living all for love. I listened to the audiobook and the author and narrator did a great job. 💞
I would like to thank Sounds True Audiobooks and NetGalley for giving me an ARC (which did not sway my opinions or review).
