The author satirically reminisces about major events and societal changes that took place in his baby boomer lifetime. Movies, songs, TV shows, colloquialisms, parental biases, political events, religious norms, and societal changes, all are addressed in a tongue-in-cheek fashion that fellow baby boomers will remember and others will learn about.

An advanced reader copy was provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this book. Author Jeffery Lewis put together a short but amusing look at the life of baby boomers as told by expressions and song and movie titles. Lewis uses these to tell a somewhat disjointed story of the world as baby boomers knew it when we were young and how we know it today. Parts were superficial but some were very insightful and meaningful such as describing November 22, 1963 with a particularly poignant movie title. I recommend this book for baby boomers because of its insights and nostalgia.
