This book is the ultimate gossip. It's so addictive to follow this family drama; it's intense and you can't put it down until you find out what happens. The whole arranged marriage thing really captivated me. I confess that with all the family stuff, the romance took a back seat (FOR ME).
But that didn't matter, and it made me love it even more.

This book was amazing right from the first page! The characters are all so well written that you feel like you really know them
The FMC Jade goes through so much growing up and then when she is sent away. She is an incredibly strong woman to go through everything she did and come out in the end even better.
The absolute man the MMC Jensen is...whew. He knew what he wanted and went after it. He stood up and treated Jade like the amazing woman she is when no one else would! Also let's just say he knows EXACTLY how to use a mechanical bull.
The side characters - Rae and Bodee (Jensen's brother) added so much to the story. You grow to love them just as much as Jensen and Jade from the very beginning!
This was an amazing read, and to be a debut novel - it was phenomenal! The author really put her heart and soul into this.
You can tell just by how well the story is laid out and written!
