As a working writer, I need a short, daily burst of inspiration. This does it! I've always admired Julia Cameron and follow her "Artists' Way" methods of living as a creative. This book of daily meditations is based on Cameron's formula of daily pages, artist dates, and daily walks. Though I have followed these steps daily for years, it's nice to have daily bits of encouragement in one book!

Review: If you’ve never used the original “The Artist’s Way” book, this is a good place to start. It basically takes all the information from the book and breaks it down into daily challenges then adds inspirational quotes and prompts to get you moving on what you want to do. As in the book, the author suggests writing morning pages—three pages, handwritten, first thing in the morning. But she also encourages you to take walks, make artist’s dates with yourself, and to be open to creativity. In addition, there is an appendix at the end that gives you 52 ideas for your artist’s dates in case you can’t think of one yourself. I’ve been in love with the Artist’s Way for years and this is just a new addition to the group. One suggestion, though, I’d get this as an actual book rather than as an e-book. I think that would make it easier to work with. Just my opinion.

Recommended.

Julie Cameron's The Daily Artist's Way is well written and a fresh look at the author's wonderful guidance. The daily meditations and writing prompts are so approachable. I highly recommend this version as I think many will find the format of the daily prompts easier to work with. There is just so much good information within these pages! The listing of the artist dates examples in the appendix is a very welcome addition. This is truly .a great choice for those new to her writings and also for her longtime fans!

Thank you to Julie Cameron, St. Martin's Press, and NetGalley for allowing me the opportunity to read and share my thoughts of this e-galley.

I am so excited to have access to this book and the tools that Julia Cameron has curated to help everyone develop their creativity.

I have always desperately wanted to be an artist, whether that was an illustrator, painter, sculptor, writer, etc. Unfortunately, I also feel as though I lack the talent to bring these dreams to fruition. Enter The Daily Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. Julia has given the every day, average person access to the inspiration and artist's tools in order to nurture, develop, and harness our own creativity. And what I love most of all, she has also given us permission to express this creativity in whichever way works for us. This removes the pressure of being creative in the "right" way.

I absolutely love the quotes, lessons, and mantras that Julia includes in order to jump start your creativity for the day, week, month, and year. You can easily repurpose this book every year, and I look forward to doing just that.

I have had the first Artist's Way on my shelf for a couple years. I always wanted to read it in full but found I would stop and start often. I love that The Daily Artist's Way condensed the four practices that foster creative and spiritual growth in a way that they feel very accessible. The daily check ins are the perfect little nuggets to invoke thought and set the intention for each day. I think it's perfect for anyone who wants to start these practices but may be low on time for reading and needing an efficient way to stay on track.
Thank you so much to Netgalley and the published for this gifted copy. I am really excited to continue on this journey.

I enjoyed The Artist’s Way and always turn to it for inspiration and encouragement. The Daily Artist’s Way is a condensed but still powerful and effective way of gaining traction on any creative project or way of life. The short but effective tips and excercises are invaluable for writers and artists alike.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is for those who either have tried doing The Artist's Way (12-week program) or have done it in the past and need a refresher. Basically, this book is The Artist's Way Program in bite-sized pieces.

What I loved about this book is that it made The Artists Way more doable. I remember buying the book and doing the program a long time ago and it was great, but it can be overwhelming, especially if you're busy or if you've got a short attention span (me). It's like that saying: "There is only one way to eat an elephant: one bite at a time." Having a daily reminder is actually more helpful for me to shift my thought process and create a lasting habit.

Highly recommend this for people who want to stir their creative juices or get unstuck. This is like having someone hold your hand for a year -- one day, one small step forward, at a time towards that creative dream you've always had.

Do you long to express your creative side, yet feel somehow feel held back? This book may be just the thing you are looking for so that your creativity can be unlocked!
.
I’ve been doing The Artist’s Way for almost ten weeks now. It’s been a wonderful, if intense, program. It lasts 12 weeks. But now there is an alternative! The Daily Artist Way by Julia Cameron is here with a 366 day plan that I find exciting and full of much potential.
.
The Daily Artist’s Way: 365 Meditations for Creative Living begins with a brief introduction to the four core tenants of the original program, explained so they can be easily understood. Then each day, for a year, there is a brief meditation, a writing prompt, and an affirmation. These are all designed to help you break through blockages to your creativity. Plus at the back of the book there is an appendix with 52 Artist Date ideas! That may well be worth the price of the book!
.
I think we’ll all want the physical book for this one. I know I want to be able to annotate and otherwise mark up this book!
.
Whether or not you have done the original The Artist Way program or are new to the entire process, I believe this book will be a welcome addition to your toolbox.
.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC given in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

If you have read and love The Artist's Way, this is an excellent companion to the original book. I've seen some other reviews suggest that this is a good place to start, but I suppose that really depends best on how you learn.

I have not yet read through The Artist's Way, and while I loved the concept of the daily prompts here (I'm a huge fan of the Daily Stoic), I think that I would prefer to read the Artist's Way through to get a good understanding of the foundations and then use this to extend my daily practice. Of course, since I haven't made my through the original, I could be wrong in my understanding of what that book has.

Regardless, if you are looking for daily writing inspiration on growing as an artist- however YOU define that, and I do define myself an 'artist' as a content creator- this is perfect. I'll be purchasing a copy to keep on my desk for daily reflections.

The Daily Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron offers a transformative year long journey with 365 daily prompts drawn from the principles of her seminal book, The Artist’s Way, which has inspired millions to unleash their creative potential.
What I enjoyed most about The Daily Artist’s Way is its ability to make creative growth accessible and manageable by breaking it into daily exercises and affirmations.
The book’s structure encourages consistent creative practice without pressure, which I found inspiring and effective. The emphasis on morning pages and artist dates nurtures self awareness and helps silence inner critics, allowing creativity to flow more freely.
I think readers will appreciate its gentle insistence on patience and self-compassion, which reminds us that creativity is a personal journey, not a race.
The wisdom combined with uplifting affirmations provides not just motivation but also a sense of creative companionship day by day.
Overall, it’s a nurturing guide that transforms creative intentions into daily action.
