Ebony At Peace Barrier, author of the insightful new book, Debt Free By 30 & Beyond, has penned her testimonial of how debt once had control of her life, and how she decided to take the control back. A single mother in her twenties with no job, Ebony has weathered an abusive relationship, gambling addiction and student loans, emerging a teacher to others about how they too—with the right information and hard work—can live without debt. Ebony is the daughter of a struggling, hard-working single mother who was doing her best to raise her children in a less affluent area of Buffalo, New York. “I love and appreciate my mom’s hustle and struggle. Without struggles, there isn’t any true reward,” she explains. With the hopes of sharing her lessons with the younger generation, in Debt Free By 30 & Beyond, Ebony shares that her spiritual foundation helped her reach her goals.
