Even so, I think it reads most like a spiritual autobiography. The author delves deep into her life and experiences and I think readers would enjoy her spiritual insights along the way. This is a simple, practical book to guide you in writing out your spiritual autobiography. The author demonstrates by sharing hers, then gives helpful guidelines for writing your own story. She also says how and why this practice will help build your awareness of how God has worked in your life.

I didn't expect this book to hit as hard as it did. Soul Journey is the kind of read that slows you down in the best way barbara Peacock guides you through a thoughtful process of revisiting your past not to dwell on it, but to find where God was present all along.

I just finished reading Soul Journey by Dr. Barbara L. Peacock. She shares a lot of her own stories and uses them to help you look back at your own past to see where God has been working. Instead of just reading, you are actually journaling, praying, and working out your own spiritual story. It takes time to do the exercises, but it is totally worth it.

By the time you finish the book, you will have a framework for your faith, and a prayerful relationship with God. I recommend this book if you are feeling stuck in your faith and need help and encouragement.
