I have read this book several times now and I enjoy all shifter books written by this author. Also this author writes under G.A. Aiken a wonderful paranormal Dragon shifter series. I highly recommend all books written by Shelly Laurenston.

Fun, funny and fabulous way to spend time getting to know Lou “Crush” Crushek and Marcella “Cella” Malone! The way Ms Laurenston has included the animal habits and attributes of the shape shifting characters in this book makes each one of them even more fun to get to know. A Siberian Tiger ice hockey playing contract killer and a Polar Bear good guy cop wouldn’t seem to have much in common but they have chemistry aplenty and watching their relationship evolve provided great entertainment. In addition to the love story there were many other threads from detective work to hockey to family – all of which enhanced the story. At the end of the book I wondered if there would be another book to follow that will see the bad guy big game hunter see his comeuppance. I would definitely read another book by this author!

I would seriously do anything to either be a friend of Cella's or be her daughter, she is downright funny, and eccentric, “now let’s go into this pharmacy and get you some goddamn tampons. My treat!” Cella knows how to get what she wants and is a bossy little thing Crush has no choice but to obey his woman, “fine. Naked it is.” He stripped off his boots and jeans and crawled in beside her. “Happy now?” he asked, wrapping his arms around her waist." There are times Cella gives her man an inch and the boy takes a mile, "Cella batted off his hands. “Do you really want me to tell the Marauder that I didn’t show up for a game because I was busy having sex with you?” I love Shelly's books they are always filled with humor and fun.
