Description
Part 3 - The Parent Trap
A shock development turns Phoebe’s world upside-down. But it’s one that Jack has difficulty coming to terms with too, and they seem to be growing further and further apart. Archie continues to stir up trouble between them, until one night his reckless actions almost end in tragedy. And he’s not the only one causing problems in Phoebe’s life, as Midnight adds her own peculiar spanner in the works.
Phoebe buries herself in her job, and it looks as though Hendry’s might actually be on the road to financial recovery. But if she loses Jack and Midnight, what will it all be for?

In this third book in the Mishaps in Milrise series, the stresses of marriage are pulling Phoebe and Jack apart. Phoebe has buried herself in her work at Hendry’s toy store, but will it matter if the store succeeds and her marriage fails? This is a sweet little series, readers grow to genuinely care for the characters
What a cliffy this one ends on! Phoebe has an unplanned pregnancy, she and Jack are not getting along and Phoebe is at odds with Jack's mom. I can't wait to dive into book 4 so I can see how this is all going to play out!
I have read the first two books in this series so was really pleased to be given an opportunity to read and review the third. In this instalment the topics get a bit tougher and the author deals with some more difficult subjects really well. The book is probably better that the second for me as the characters get more developed and involved in this one - looking forward to the final instalment! I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
