Description
Some loyalties are forged in childhood.
Others are tested when everything is at stake.
Growing up on a South London estate, Destiny and Damian learn early that survival isn’t just about strength — it’s about who you trust, and who you protect when the pressure closes in.
As quick money and dangerous opportunities pull them deeper into the criminal underworld, the cracks begin to show. Relationships strain. Secrets multiply. Love becomes collateral. And the bond that once kept them safe starts to feel like a liability.
At the centre of it all is Destiny — torn between loyalty to his closest friend, the woman he loves, and a future that demands hard choices with irreversible consequences.
Destiny’s Game is a gritty, emotionally driven crime novel about brotherhood, betrayal, and the quiet moments where lives change forever. It’s not about glamour — it’s about cost.

This is a very good start to a new series, set in the criminal underworld of drug smuggling. It is set between London and Ibiza and the chapters are short, snappy and easy to read. Destiny, the main character is loyal to his friends and family in this emotional and gritty read. with brotherhood at its core. A good promising, evenly paced start to a new series, with plenty of suspense and tension. I look forward to seeing what comes next for Destiny and his friends. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.

I can honestly say that this was one of the most beautifully written novels I have ever read.
I found myself reading passages out to others as I was so impressed.
The whole atmospheric feel to the book was so vivid I could almost feel the sun and sand of Ibiza whilst managing to feel uncomfortable about the rising threats that our two heroes (I use that word loosely here) face throughout.
This is not a thriller. It is a story of resilience, friendship, love, ambition and loyalty.
And it is told so well.
An easy 5 stars from me.
