I really enjoyed the writing style, it's very accessible and makes for an easy read. There are some ideas I agree with, and others I don't. It’s worth noting that the book mentions God several times, so it might not be for everyone.

I really wanted to like this book. But, I think the synopsis unfortunately did not match the content. I am sure there are readers out there for this book who will consume it happily. However, to find them the synopsis needs to be clearer. I am open to spirituality and to be honest, the synopsis had me intrigued as the concept of how we can alter our perceptions and reality felt like it fit with the phase of life I was in. But this was more of a religious book and it was just not for me.

​I was initially drawn to The Magic Lives Within You because of its focus on spirituality and the concept of how we can alter our own perceptions and reality. As someone who loves learning about the universe and the power of the mind, the premise felt right up my alley.

The book is undeniably well-written and thought out. Johanna Korkowski has a clear voice, and the quality of the work is high. It is evident that a lot of care went into the structure of the message.

Unfortunately, I found the synopsis to be a bit misleading regarding the specific lens of spirituality being presented. I am not someone who follows traditional deities or enjoys literature centered around 'Gods' and I felt the book leaned much more heavily into religious spirituality than the summary suggested. Had this religious framing been clearer in the book’s description, I likely wouldn't have requested this specific title.

If you enjoy spirituality rooted in religious or deity-based traditions, this is a well-crafted and necessary read. However, if you prefer secular spiritual exploration, this may not be the right fit for you.

I really appreciated the contents of this book. Had I read it a few months ago it would have been like
reading another language. If one is not aware of the Spiritual Awakening or New Earth or Spiritual and Souls subjects of what or who we are truly are... This book won't.. can't be truly appreciated for the empowerment and gifts it presents to those who are of the population I mentioned. In any event. I am thankful for the help, healing and understanding it provided for me during this stage of my Ascension. It is one I can return to daily. #NetGalley
