Thank you NetGalley and Zonderkidz for an audio copy of Deep Breath, Little Whisper. This is a charming book for children to learn about giving God their worries, thoughts and feelings. I loved the narrators voice. I thought it was a calming approach to teaching something so fundamental for Christian children. I would certainly read this/play this book for my kids.

Such an adorable book for young Christians! The breathing prayers are some of my favorite things and this audiobook incorporated them so well! Would definitely bring this to read to my Kindergartners; this is such an amazing way of strengthening children’s faith!

The narrator did a great job. She had a really
Smooth and calm voice that really fit the story and is nice for kids too. I like how this took what can be an over topic for kids and adults and made it really simple and positive. Again, these are actually great reminders for adults too, but I think it was perfectly directed to kiddos. This is great timing for Lent and Easter too!

From the moment the audiobook started playing, I genuinely left like a kid again. The narrator is so gentle reading out the words to the prayers. It warmed my heart. I might have to replay it a couple of times because it’s now stuck in my head. I love it!
Everything about the book is worth it and done with such care.

This story simplifies praying. Reminds us we can pray anytime and about everything. God always listens. It also gives a few life lessons. I would play this often for a child. Outstanding narration. Highly recommend.

I really appreciated the message in Deep Breath, Little Whisper by Scott James. It teaches children that every thought and feeling can be brought to God in prayer, no matter how small. A peaceful, reassuring book that nurtures both faith and honesty.
