Nicki Pary was born in Kent to Persian parents, who instilled in her from a young age a love of stories, from mythology to poetry. She studied English Literature and Journalism in Bournemouth; however, her career prospects were waylaid by chronic illness. She now devotes her time to writing, editing and her love of Gonks.
