Description
An assassin takes an impossible contract to clear her best friend’s name. The target is a fae prince feared by both realms for an ancient power called the Untamed. She fails—and accidentally binds herself to him instead. If he dies, she dies. Whatever she feels, he feels. He hires her as his personal guard, and together they cross the realm in search of a way to break the bond. But the closer they are to breaking it, the more they question whether or not they want it to be broken.
Because some secrets are never meant to be discovered.
Some bonds are never meant to be broken.
And some powers are never meant to be tamed.

Untamed completely swept me away. The found family element is one of the strongest parts of the story: warm, chaotic, loyal, and the emotional backbone of the entire journey. The slow burn tension between is deliciously drawn out, full of longing and unspoken moments that make every interaction hit harder. And that twist!! I genuinely didn’t see it coming!
A gripping, emotional, beautifully crafted fantasy. 5 stars.

I am totally hooked on this! The banter is thriving and the plot I felt is deliciously addictive. This is a romantasy that drew me into it's orbit and I didn't want to leave.
Thank you NetGalley and author, Analise Song, for the ARC of Untamed.
HOLY SHIT. This is one of my top fantasy books ever. Here are my very sporadic thoughts:
-Very similar to tog and acotar in the best ways (Sera was like a brunette badass like Calena and Caelan was similar looking and personality wise like Dorian, but fae), Maelor and Riven are like the cadre, Sera is magical in some ways and is also an orphan than was raised by assassins.
-I love the forced bond and proximity
- I have too many quotes highlighted to list, but I love the characters so much and how Caelan loved Sera like immediately was EVERYTHING
- THE BONUS CHAPTER. WTF!?
I need all of the authors book like now and I'm going to be getting a hard copy as a trophy, it was so good. Analise will forever be an auto buy author for me now. Girl, how is this your debut??!!
