Description

A dark past haunts Bella Valenti and she vows never to open herself to a man again. When she meets billionaire playboy Lorenzo Moretti at a Rome nightclub, she wants nothing more than to escape his magnetism and the vulnerability his presence arouses.

Still, the passion between them can’t be denied, and their first date is electric. She knows his reputation -- this will not last. Lorenzo, for his part, finds himself surprisingly intrigued by the puzzle that is Bella.

He whisks Bella off to Monaco, where they succumb to their desires. But Bella’s past catches up with her when the brother of her ex-fiancé, accosts her at the casino and Lorenzo nearly kills him in his fervor to protect her. He demands to know what happened to her in the past, but Bella, worried he will judge her, at first refuses to tell him. It is only after another night of sensual lovemaking, that they both realize that something deep is happening between them, and Bella takes a chance and opens up.
As their love deepens, what neither of them realize is that soon Bella’s dangerous history will no longer remain in the past, and will threaten Bella’s safety, their love, and in the end, both of their lives. Will Lorenzo be able to save her in time? Will they both live through it?

About the author:

Lucie Babikian is Armenian, she lived in three different countries in the Middle East and now resides in Jakarta with her husband and three children. She travels all around the world with her family, and she loves it.
Her passion was always for the English language, and once the eBook stores were available worldwide, Lucie had access to so many books, it was then she discovered erotic romance. It became her first choice in picking her reads; and that is when her writing style changed and she was inspired to write her first erotic romance: Belonging To Him. Finding support in her community is very hard, but this was no longer a problem when everything became available online and she was able to share the stories in her head with the world, she became a member of RWA as well. Being free to write what she's passionate about and know that out there, there are people who share her passion is amazing.

This book is hot. I could not put it down. It was a easy and quick read. These two characters were great and hot together. I hope this Author keeps on writing. This book has plenty of drama and romance and sex.

Belonging to Him was hot, and kind of sweet, too. I enjoyed both Lorenzo and Bella and their relationship. As a testament to how well written it was, I really felt for Bella and all she had gone through with her ex fiance. Yes, the story featured the familiar theme of the alpha male falling in love with the damaged heroine who had secrets and was damaged by her past, but it didn't detract from how well written it was or how much I really enjoyed it.

Bella was an excellent character, so sweet and strong. And Lorenzo, oh so hot and fell so hard for Bella. If this is how well written all Lucie's books are, I will definitely be reading more of her work!

Bella has a scary past that she don't want no one to know about. She meets Lorenzo at a club and just his touch alone she falls for him but is keeping her distance (at least trying to) Lorenzo wants Bella and won't give up trying to open her up to talk about her past. Fast read but exciting book! I loved it But would like more what happens next?? I Hope there is more to the story. Thrilling, drama, shocking story that romance lovers will love 4/5 stars

I liked this book. the characters were good. Bella has a lot in her past. Meeting the mega handsome billionaire just helped her come out of her shell. This was a fast read. I finished this on one day.. really less than one day. I wanted an epilogue. What about Franchesca? What happens now..that is what I want to know!

I received this ARC from the publisher via Net Galley fur my honest review.

a good read

This is more of a 4.5 Stars. This is a quick read and reminded me very much of 50 Shades of Grey. I happen to love 50 Shades so the similarity made me like this story more. It's not the story so much but more the characters that just felt similar. The very beginning of the book I wasn't sure if I would like it. Lorenzo was a little too arrogant for my tastes and Bella was a little too innocent despite the dark event that's eluded to in her past. The first couple chapters didn't flow very well to me but the more I read, the better the writing got and the more I liked the characters. Overall I really liked the story and wished it had a epilogue.
