We’ll approve: teachers, librarians, media, bloggers, booksellers, comic book sellers, people who work at our parent company. We won’t approve: people who list their credentials as ‘I really like to read’ or ‘I want to get into reading e-books.' First Second doesn't print a lot of physical galleys, so Netgalley is one of our main channels for advance book distribution. As such, we're predisposed to share advance copies with people who would generally be getting print galleys -- teachers, librarians, booksellers, media -- and people who we already have a professional relationship with. We are very choosy about who gets to read our advance galleys! Please also note that the digital galleys we share on Netgalley may be uncopyedited, and missing copyright information or back matter. We will endeavor to note these things when possible. The digital galley you're reading may also not accurately reflect the color or the dimensions of the final book -- if that's something you have a concern about while reading, please let us know.
