My rating is 4.5 stars..

First want to thank NetGalley, the publisher Forever (Grand Central Publishing, and the author for a review copy of Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan.

Can’t Get Enough was a moving, heartwarming, mid-burn romance. With many important themes to pick apart such as the weight and labor of caregiving for a family member with Alzheimer, the importance of friendship, and solid support systems.

I took off half a star from the rating because Maverick was just not that interesting to me. His moments with Hendrix, especially towards the later part of the book were heartwarming, and I thought the scene where he interacts with Hendrix’s mom was precious. Other than that, he was just a support character.

Hendrix though, by herself she is complex enough and the fact that she can beautifully articulate wanting to remain the rich auntie and not have kids of her own, resonated with me at a level that I feel seen and understood. I also understand her drive to pave the way for other Black entrepreneurs and how frustrating it must have been to end up in the situation of the VC fund she headed with her colleagues.

The friendship with Yesmen and Soledad. I feel like in this book their friendship shines through, they’ve accumulated so many inside jokes from the previous books that it was fun to laugh along with them. How they support each other is beautiful.

Lastly, I would like to say I appreciate the caregiver representation and how it depicts how overwhelming it can be for someone who has to juggle their full-time job with the challenges of caregiving.

Now as for the romance, even though I don’t love Maverick, I think that he was a good match for Hendrix. He could easily match her energy and be there to support and care for her when she needed him to, like that man dropped EVERYTHING any time she even squeaked in his direction. How their relationship developed was a bit messy, and I’m still unsure how I feel about it -I am just not huge fan of entanglements where the ex has some sort of leverage on the MC or the love interest, it’s just frustrating- How Hendrix eventually stood her ground and did not allow Zere to manipulate her and guilt her was fabulous, especially when Zere had the nerve to body-shame Hendrix in more than one occasion.

Overall, I would recommend this book to any reader that is a fan of Ryan Kennedy already and has read the previous books in the Skyland Series. I think this is perfect for those looking for an emotional read, with a great cast of supporting characters, a main character who is wanting to embrace her soft side while achieving her goals, Alzheimer caregiving representation, and enjoys books with open door romance. Can’t Get Enough has more open door scenes than the previous books in this series of interconnected standalone books. As a reader, keep that in mind if picking this up.

Kennedy Ryan delivers yet another compelling narrative in "Can't Get Enough," the third book in the much-loved Skyland Series. At its heart, this installment follows our beloved Hendrix, a character cherished for her strength, independence, and unwavering spirit. Ryan once again skillfully intertwines a profound love story with the challenges and realities of life, this time focusing on Hendrix's journey as she grapples with the demands of being a caregiver to a relative with Alzheimer's while also being her own boss.

Hendrix's journey is a poignant exploration of love and loss, showcasing Ryan’s ability to navigate complex emotional landscapes. The novel highlights the relentless challenges caregivers face, emphasizing the emotional and physical toll it can take. Ryan’s depiction of this experience is both empathetic and realistic, resonating deeply with anyone familiar with caregiving's demanding nature.

The romance between Hendrix and Maverick is nothing short of captivating. Maverick is the quintessential romantic hero, devoted and supportive, yet nuanced enough to be relatable as a billionaire. His unconditional love for Hendrix is beautifully portrayed, showing his willingness to embrace her multifaceted life and the burdens she carries. Their relationship unfolds with genuine chemistry and mutual respect, making their love story incredibly satisfying.

Hendrix emerges as a standout character. She is fiercely independent, yet vulnerable—a juxtaposition that Ryan masterfully brings to life. Her resilience is inspiring, and her evolution throughout the story is both believable and heartening. Readers have long adored Hendrix for her ability to march to the beat of her own drum, and "Can't Get Enough" further solidifies her status as a fan favorite.

In "Can't Get Enough," Kennedy Ryan crafts a narrative that is both deeply moving and uplifting. She captures the essence of human connection and the healing power of love, all while addressing the intricate realities of life. Fans of the Skyland Series will find themselves enamored, once again, with Ryan’s storytelling prowess and the unforgettable journey of Hendrix and Maverick.

I was so excited to finally get to read Hendrix's story after absolutely loving the other books in The Skyland trilogy.
Hendrix is a fierce business woman who is happy being the rich aunt and not the mom. She loves being the one to take care of the people around her and being there for her friends.
However, taking care of her mom who has Dementia is proving challenging, but she can handle it right?
Maverick Bell has just reached Billionaire status with the sale of his app. He is also moving on from a relationship with Hendrix's business partner.
When these two meet it's instant chemistry but it has complications. They will have to figure out if the complications are worth the happiness.
Maverick had me hooked with how sweet and supportive he was. The way he supported and was there for Hendrix won me over quick!
While the romance is great in this whole series. My favorite thing about it, is that it feels like a platonic love story with the friendship of these three women. I absolutely love how they support and love eachother like family.
This was a great ending to a trilogy that I wish did not have to end.

I enjoyed this read as a fan Kennedy Ryan's work. I liked that I learned much more about Hendrix as a character and that she is presented as a dynamic woman with a thriving career, deep love for her family and friends, self-assured, confident, and assertive. I also enjoyed seeing this strong, independent woman be loved out loud by an unexpected suitor. I appreciate that she's childless by choice and initially skeptical of falling for one guy and committing there long-term when she has been very selective and open in her dating and sex life before this.

My main critiques are that I think the love story evolves very quickly and that there are moments I wish it would slow down so that I could savor it. I also think that in many ways, Hendrix does assume the heteronormative mold of someone whose life begins to take shape when they enter into romantic partnership although she seemed to want to avoid that. She falls fast and hard for Maverick and that begins to consume her life and thoughts almost immediately. At times it's endearing and at others, it makes me wish there was another way forward for her. She ultimately ends up deeply committed to him and a stepmom--although this isn't fleshed out much.

I am glad we see Hendrix as a caregiver and that we don't see her mother pass away from her illness. I was bracing for that.

Overall, I think it's a solid novel and in relationship to the other two books in the series, it's a decent ending.

I ended up really enjoying this book! However, I enjoyed it outside of the romance.

I enjoyed the relationship and story line between Hendrix and her mom, the side plot between Hendrix and Mav’s assistants, and seeing our girls as usual, more than the romance plot line! Can’t Get Enough was a novel about that pulls you in with the chemistry of the main characters, but then lost some of my interest with the rest of the story about what Hendrix is going through.

I loved the way Hendrix was loved on by Mav. I loved the spice. I loved the chemistry and the passion.

As much as I love a child-free by choice woman, Hendrix could not dethrone my girl, Soledad!

So excited for more Kennedy Ryan to come!

I love this Kennedy Ryan series! In this third installment, we follow Hendrix—a smart, successful, and stunning woman who, at 40, has yet to meet her match. She’s thriving, running a high-powered management company in Atlanta and rubbing elbows with celebrities, when she meets Maverick—and sparks fly.

The upside? Maverick is a billionaire who wants to take care of her (not that she needs it, but she absolutely deserves it). The complication? He’s the recent ex of her current business partner. Despite Hendrix’s efforts to keep things professional, Maverick is determined—when he wants something, he doesn’t give up easily. On top of it all, Hendrix is navigating the heartbreaking reality of her mother’s Alzheimer’s.

Kennedy Ryan is such a talented romance writer. Her characters feel incredibly real, and the chemistry practically leaps off the page. I also enjoyed the named drop of a character from her Hoops series. I will always read whatever she puts out!

There were so many things that I enjoyed about this book. The romance, obviously, but also the time with family, friendship, and most of all the sisterhood. That was truly my favorite part.

Hendrix has always been a great character. She is a powerhouse. A true business woman and a woman of leisure. She is just THAT girl! But I loved seeing a more vulnerable side of her. She's always taking care of people whether it's her friends, their families (rich aunty!), and her family, she's always there for people. But on the other side it was always reciprocated and I loved to see it. This book showcased the power of sisterhood so well! Obviously, we know her girls Yasmen and Soledad constantly were there for her, but I loved seeing her business partners and her employee's be so ready to care for her too whatever ways they could. It was lovely to see. If she didn't have anyone else, she had her sisters! In romance books I think the friendships can sometimes be overlooked in general, but I think Kennedy Ryan showcased it so well.

Community was great too. Hendrix mother is a woman with Alzheimer's. This was something that was hard for Hendrix to navigate especially with her being in ATL and her mom being in North Carolina, but there were so many people there to help Hendrix and her Aunt, so they didn't have to carry it all on their own and it was so beautiful to read.

Maverick Bell was into Hendrix IMMEDIATELY. And he was laying it on THICK! Even before they got into anything romantic with her, he was ready to help her in anyway possible whether it was helping her with her business or being a friend to confide in when it came to her mother. He had her back until the very end and was always ready to show up for her at any moment. He was very supportive of her goals, but also the things going on in her life personally. Even though their relationship came with some drama, I'm glad it worked out for them because I really enjoyed them together. He was willing to take care of her in anyway possible because he wanted to, and that was really nice to see especially since she's the type to constantly be taking care of others.

What can I say, Kennedy Ryan is just on another level of writing. Her characters are alway relatable and have so much depth. Can't Get Enough was no different.

I loved seeing a fierce FMC that was childless by choice and seeing the way she had to combat that decision throughout the story. I've never been a fan pf billionaire romances but of course KR wrote this story so well that Maverick was only ever a confident man who knew what he wanted. I think this was the spiciest book of the Skyland series in my opinion but I loved it and the passion between Hendrix and Maverick.

I did feel that the ending wrapped up too quickly and I would have wanted to know more about the conflict between Hendrix's fund and the group that was suing them. It felt like it was glossed over and somewhat thrown in just for the sake of conflict.

Either way I thoroughly enjoyed the last book and am rating it 4.5/5 stars.

Thank you to Netgalley and Forever Publishing for the chance to read this early in exchange of an honest review.

Wagwan! This book was perfect in every way- the slow burn romance, Rich Auntie vibes, the sisterhood/ friendship, the way Alzheimer’s was handled with care, black woman boss, and the spice. I loved everything about Hendrix’s story!

♾️ ⭐️

I will be thinking about this books for days, weeks, months and probably years to come. Kennedy Ryan has the most beautiful way of writing the most perfect characters and love stories while also touching on such important and personal topics in such an effortless way. I am forever obsessed with everything she writes.

I didn’t know how Ryan was going to top This Could Be Us, book 2 in this series, but she didn’t just top it - she knocked it out of the park.

I am absolutely so touched by these characters and their stories. It was raw and vulnerable. It talked about SUCH important topics that so many people should be paying attention to right now and she does it in such an effortless way.

The way Alzheimer’s was handled in this book was absolutely beautiful. You got all aspects of the disease - from the one suffering, to the ones helping / assisting to those on the mother side of the battles once their loved ones have passed on. I absolutely adored the way Kennedy handled this.

Truly i can’t even put into words how much I loved this book. Hendrix and Maverick will be with me for QUITE SOME TIME.

The Vibes (& they were vibing):
-He Falls First
-CHILDLESS BY CHOICE 👏🏼
-Plus Size FMC
-THE GIRL GROUP of your dreams
-Billionaire MMC

As someone who loves billionaire romances, it was super refreshing to see a FMC that didn’t ‘need’ the billionaires money for something. I feel like that’s a normal/common storyline in billionaire romances - for medical bills, family, bills, etc. Our FMC here is UNAPOLOGETICALLY herself and doesn’t need a man for NUTHINNNNNN. & i love her.

Kennedy Ryan does it again! Such a comforting and also thought provoking romance. I love how Ryan's heroines are always tough as nails and smart and also get to have amazing supportive men in their lives. I'm sad to see the series end but it was a perfect final book!

This was such a beautiful story!

Ryan masterfully blends love, tough issues and friendship. The way Ryan tells a story is powerful and feels grounded in reality. I think readers will gobble this one up. It has such a fun and genuine heroine and a swoon worthy hero. But this also has a lovely portrayal of family and friendship too. I liked how the author tackled difficult issues and thought they were handled with care.

This book will make readers fall in love. A truly captivating story.

4.5⭐️ !!! AMAZING FINALE TO THIS TRILOGY

I absolutely LOVED Hendrix & Mav SO much & loved their dynamic.

I am usually do enjoy a billionaire romance, HOWEVER, I loved this way more than usual because of the success, career, drive, & passion that Hendrix already has. So many billionaire romances feature a love interest who “needs” their money. But I loved that this was different. Mav was able to spoil her & be there for him because of that financial privilege, but he didn’t outshine her or reduce her success.

In addition to that part, which I loved, I also thought the representation for caregiving, Alzheimer’s, and watching your parents age was so beautifully and intentionally done. Kennedy Ryan is a MASTER storyteller and can capture difficult parts of the human experience unlike anyone else!!!

I loved the found family with Yas & Sol & their men & kids! Everything about this was just chefs KISS

Thank you so much to Forever Publishing & NetGalley for the early opportunity to read & review this early 💗

I’m convinced Kennedy Ryan could write an ikea instruction manual and I would be captivated. THE YEARNING. THE PINING. THE LONGING. Mav was down so bad, but how can you not be for Hendrix?! Kennedy has a magic about weaving in drama, realness, heart, and triumph in the face of adversity and is constantly throwing her whole back into the books she writes. I’m going to miss Skyland so much, but I’m so glad our girls got their HEAs-they deserve the world. 🫶🏻

Thank you so much to Forever publishing for the opportunity to read Can’t Get Enough early💜

Kennedy Ryan never ceases to amaze me with her writing, her stories, her characters, her social justice and her amazing talent. This entire series has been 5+ stars and Hendrix’s story was everything I hoped it would be and more.

Kennedy Ryan is THE author for stories that strike with a message while also making your heart soar with love. Can’t Get Enough and the entire Skyland series deserves ALL the stars!

Can’t Get Enough was one of my most anticipated new romance books of 2025 because I KNEW that Kennedy Ryan was going to deliver a book that hooked your heart AND your mind and boy did this one do that in spades.

If anyone ever asks me for a book recommendation that will make them think as well as feel, I always mention Kennedy Ryan’s books and this one has flown to the top of the list along with the rest in her Skyland series.

While I was already anxious for Hendrix’s story having read Before I Let Go and This Could Be Us, this can be read as a standalone. But for the full richness of the story and the sister bond between the three heroines, I highly recommend reading the others before this one or at least This Could Be Us.

Hendrix is FIERCE let me tell you! I loved everything about this heroine – her tenacity, her drive, her love and care of those around her, her commitment to causes, the self awareness and self-esteem and the standards that she never wavered from when it came to the partner that she deserved.

While I always read romance for the central love story, I also read Kennedy Ryan’s books for the topics she tackles so eloquently and fully.

I loved how Hendrix is a childfree woman by choice and how she defends this choice when she shouldn’t have to and yet demonstrates how love and mothering of others can come in so many other forms.

I loved how she was a self-made woman who was also supporting other Black women through her venture capital fund but whose fund came under attack just as others have in real life.

I loved how Hendrix cared so deeply for her mother who was grappling with Alzheimer’s and how genuine and authentically Kennedy portrayed this illness and its effects on those you love.

All of these issues were weaved so effortlessly into this story in a way that gets to the heart of the matter but without overshadowing the central love story.

But most of all I loved that this book featured a mature, sexy, driven woman who was 40 and not 25!

Which leads me to one of the best book boyfriends… Maverick. Oh dear lord did Kennedy write a unicorn among all men in the billionaire who seriously had no flaws.

This man was hooked from the start and yet played his cards right, slowly building up a friendship and then pursuing her when the time was as right as it could be. He recognized the goddess in front of him and treated her in kind. Man, did Mav have me swooning on more than one occasion.

I adored their build up, his pursuit of Hendrix, and that Kennedy didn’t resort to extreme drama or a third act breakup for a couple made up of two smart people who communicate and put care for one another first and foremost.

The side story between their assistants was hysterical and just another fun aspect to this story that has so much to love about it.

I honestly didn’t want this story or this series to end, but the epilogue gave the perfect wrap-up to the series.

Thank you Kennedy Ryan for sharing your craft which is honestly out of this world. You write stories unlike any other and I’m so incredibly grateful for them. Please don’t ever stop writing!

Hendrix’s story is the much anticipated conclusion to the Skyland series. I was so excited to finally experience Hendrix’s POV. In books 1-2 of the series her life seems so fun, exciting and very different from Yasmen and Soledad’s, so I was very eager for this installment.

Initially I loved Hendrix and Maverick’s chemistry. I also enjoyed the prologue giving a little more into Hendrix and her mother’s relationship. I also really loved the updates on Yasmen and Josiah, Sol and Judah and characters from The Hoops Series.

Another element I love of this book and the whole series, the strong deep love and sisterhood among Yas, Hen and Sol.

While I was enjoyed those elements, I was very underwhelmed with Hendrix and Maverick’s love story. It didn’t sizzle for me like I was hoping. There were also many drawn out scenes like the basketball game. It took me almost all of February and March to complete this arc. I wasn’t as engaged as I typically am.

Thank you Forever pub for the eARC via NetGalley, in exchange for my honest review.

I adore Kennedy Ryan’s characters and Hendrix was the story I was most excited for. She is strong and independent, and hilarious. Maverick is just everything you could want in a hot billionaire who is romantic and sweet. Overall I loved this story and would love to hear about Skipper and Bolt lol

Kennedy Ryan does it again! What a way to end the Skyland series (I assume this is the end since we now have all three best friends' romances). Hendrix and Maverick are couple goals 100%!!!

This book does deal with heavy topics (CW: illness of a parent, racism, mild fatphobia), but Kennedy Ryan does a fantastic job introducing those in the beginning so a reader can know if this book is for them.

Likes:
-The conflict keeping them apart was a real conflict
-The tension
-How Down Bad he is immediately but he also takes time to get to know her
-Hendrix is a Successful Woman
-The spice was soooo good
-This relationship is for sure working for life
-A billionaire man who can charter a plane when she needs him
-No miscommunication
-No third act breakup

Dislikes:
-Mild fatphobia (it was mild and I get it... but also, I hate characters who are fatphobic sooo)
-I thought there would be a twist, and then there wasn't--this is 100% a problem with my imagination and not the book hahahah

This is for sure my favorite of the Skyland series now, and the cameos from the last two FMCs just made me want to go back and reread their stories.

Thank you to the publisher for providing me with an e-arc in exchange for my honest review.

The beginning was very slow for me and hard to get into which is why I can only give it 3 stars. The last half of the book was good. I liked the relationships Hendrix had with her best friends Soledad and Yasmin. I liked that Hendrix didn’t want kids. Must books I really the female always wants kids so that was a nice change. Hendrix was very sweet towards her aunt and mom and did she best she could to help out her mom with Alzheimer’s. It was still a good book but thought the beginning was slow.

This book was absolutely a masterpiece. I always applaud Kennedy Ryan for creating characters that feel so close to home, but she really hit the nail on the head for me with Hendrix. She is tall, thick and has brown skin, but also bold, independent and strong-willed. Fiercely loving her support system while considering what she may want out of life. Between the family dynamics we see with her mother and other members that appear in the book, I loved the mix of tenacity and duty she feels towards her family.

The spicier scenes had my toes curling and me humming to myself, but what I loved was witnessing a woman who had resigned her lover girl spirit to the back being loved so gently that it was coaxed back forward. The way that she never had to compromise her values, while making tough decisions as it pertained to her love and professional life was admirable and realistic.

I loved the growth mindset that she maintained throughout the novel while also standing strong on her principles. Big fan of this series. Though I am sad to see it go, I hope there is a way to reunite these characters for more adventures.
