Loved this book! This is a tale of love lost.....Lily lost the love of her life, Jack, when he left after a family tragedy. Lily couldn't reach him and had no idea where he was, which forced her to handle everything alone, including the miscarriage of their baby. Then, five years later, he walks back into her life and wants to pick back up again - insisting that he still loves her and has been faithful to her.
This one tugged at my heartstrings, even making me cry near the end - a true tearjerker. It's a very emotional story that made me feel as though I was part of it and invested in the outcome. Kudos to the author for creating such a heartfelt book that reached out and touched me.
Romance fans will love this book. There is a lot of story packed into its pages and it should not be missed. Put this one at the top of your TBR. Additional note, while this is part of a series, it is a stand alone novel. I haven't read book one and don't think it detracted from the story, however, I enjoyed this one so much that I've added the first book to my TBR.
