Advance Praise
"Our way of relating to food in contemporary culture has been twisted by fear, unmet needs for love, and the need to control. In this brilliant and groundbreaking book, you’ll discover a powerful way to let go of “dieting” and awaken an intimate, intuitive con- nection with your body, mind, and spirit". - Tara Brach Author of Radical Acceptance and True Refuge
"If you’re looking for a book that will help you feel more sane and comfortable around food while learning to eat more nutritiously, Nourish is an excellent choice. Heidi provides a blend of her personal recovery experience and professional and clinical wisdom that will guide you well on the road to recovery." - Karen R. Koenig, MEd, LCSW Author of seven books on improving eating and self-care
"I have read so many books on food, diet, and health, and I finally feel I can stop. Heidi’s book reminds us that we are all unique and that, instead of looking for the 'right' way to eat from the experts, all of the answers are actually inside ourselves. Our bodies know. This book is lled with great advice, real stories, and examples. Ultimately, Heidi is a reassuring guide, helping us find our way back to natural, healthy, intuitive eating." - Ingrid Gelada, Psychologist and author of 21 Days to Happiness

This book is such a blessing. My daughter has anorexia and Heidi Schauster hit the spot with this.
In Nourish, the focus is on relationships with food rather than dieting. This focus works for everyone. Both overeaters and undereaters will find this book useful. Nourish is laid out into steps to help the reader change their mind and habits about eating and food in general. The steps are not meant to flow linearly. In fact, the first step is about body image and is meant to be visited repeatedly.
Nourish is sure to help with a host of eating problems. I plan to purchase this book and add it to my daughter's reading list for her therapy.
