Good!

I liked Lilly and Dylan and how their relationship was developed. The supporting characters were fun and I think would make great stories as well. There was a nice mix of drama, emotion, sweetness and suspense.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

Armed and Inked tells the story of how Dylan, a piercer for the titled tattoo shop, falls in love with Lilly, the co-owner who has just returned home from college. This book captivated me and I found myself smiling the whole time I read it. I did have some issues with the editing, I would like to have had the chapters begin on separate pages than the last and there were many errors in spelling and grammar. I, however, am not an expert on that matter and it could very well be the result of the format in which it was sent to my kindle for downloading. All in all, the book was fantastic and I look forward to reading the sequel and more from this author.

Great storyline with a few surprises. I like the tat shop drama and staff stories. Well written with a HEA.

First of all, what a hot cover! I usually don’t care a lot about covers, but this one is hot! I thought this was a good, solid story and I really enjoyed it!

Although I enjoyed the story and the characters immensely, I had many problems reading this due to the amount of errors.
Ordinarily I can ignore these things, but in this case I found it very off putting. Which is a pity as the storyline and characters are amazing!

4* for the story and the plot, but... this definitely needs editing! I am more than happy to re-review at a later date after being proof edited, and will not publish this review accross platforms, as I feel that prior to editing, most would not be happy reading. For myself, if not for needing to leave a review, I would not have finished the book.

Armed and inked was a good story that was very fast paced. It had lots of suspense and a mystery behind it. Lots of steamy sex scenes. The lure of a good relationship that you were able to watch unfold from conception to the end.

Crapola this book has an AMAZING plot, Armed and Inked is a sexy and seductive read that sucks you in right from the get go. Who can't help but love tatted hot men, and this book is full of them. I totally can't wait to se what M.S. Swegan has in store for me next!

This review is coming on the heels of me barely reaching “The End” for Lilly and Dylan’s story Armed & Inked by M.S. Swegan.




I’ll admit, the cover drew me in first and foremost. I have a special place in my heart for tatted boys and the likeness of Dylan on the cover was sexy and enticing and begged me to discover more.




And I am SO GLAD it did! The tension between Lilly and Dylan was practically palpable in the beginning of their story. The back and forth, thankfully, didn’t last exceptionally long before it gave way to hot as Hades sex. They both set the digital pages of Armed & Inked on fire with the very first kiss.




Sadly, just as their relationship morphs into the “more than a sexy and delicious hook-up stage” the ground work is laid for what I presumed would be manipulation from a scorned wannabe lover. The conflict. The hurdle for our main characters to overcome.




I couldn’t have been more wrong. Oh, they had a war to wage to save their relationship, but it was nothing at all what I expected. By that I mean it was so much better, so much more impactful, and so much more intriguing.




As much as I’d love to gush all over the twists and turns Armed & Inked takes, you need to discover this book for yourself and have a chance to gasp and stare down the barrel of a heart attack just as I did.




The only thing preventing me from leaving a 5 star review are formatting issues. The paragraphs run together in a way that is a bit distracting and kept me from losing myself fully to the story. Hopefully this is an issue that was fixed before going to the publisher for print and digital release.




I am thrilled beyond belief to hear that Shane gets his own book next because that boy seriously needs a chance to shine. And, frankly, I am not at all ready to say good bye to Lilly and Dylan.

A great cast of characters and an enjoyable storyline with a HEA made Armed and Inked an enjoyable read.

The book itself was packed full there was action and suspense, moments were I was literally on the edge of my seat, camaraderie and nemeses with added amusement and drama.

On the whole the book has all the promise to be a five star read it just needs a good editor to go over it, for that reason alone it’s a solid 4/5 from me.

I received an ARC of Armed and Inked from Netgalley, and this is my honest opinion. This is the first book of Ms. Swegan's that I have read. Dylan is the new piercer at Armed and Ink. Lilly just graduated college and moves back to work at Armed and Ink again alongside her brother. Upon meeting each other, Dylan and Lilly have an instant connection and attraction. As Dylan and Lilly get to know each other better at the shop and outside of it, there are others who are secretly jealous and waiting and watching in the dark to tear them apart. Will Lilly and Dylan's budding relationship blossom or will it detonate and crumble?
Armed and Inked's characters are very well written. I fell in love with certain ones while despising others. The plot is solid and kept me on my toes trying to guess what will happen next. I highly recommend this book to those 18+ due to the sexcapades. There may be some triggers in this story. I sincerely hope that this is the first in my books to follow. I look forward to reading what will happen next and to whom! Thank you Ms. Swegan and Netgalley for introducing me in to your world.

I enjoyed reading this title.
I found it fast and fun.
The characters are engaging and easy to like and the plot was quick paced with a few twists along the way.

I have to say the cover was a pleasure to look at too .
I'll be keeping an eye out for Shanes story coming out next.

I enjoyed this read it was a fast paced and quick read but it wasn’t lacking in depth or quality because you really feel the tension and desire the characrers have for each other. I also enjoyed the drama because it was unexpected. One thing that was a little confusing was that scenes would change from one paragraph to the next mid page so I would have to go to each paragraph and see if I missed something but this did not take away from the story too much. I can’t wait to read Shane’s story.

Loved this book very much. It had just enough comedy & HOT romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

This was my first read by M.S. Swegan really enjoyed it. This was very fast paced story about Dylan and Lilly, Plenty of steamy scenes plus there chemistry was hot. theres a few twists along the way you don't see coming. I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley.

This is the first book I have read M S Swegan but was such a great introduction that I will now be looking for more of their work

Dylan is the new piercer at Armed and Ink the tattoo/piercing shop where Lilly's brother works. Lilly is also returning to work there once again. The attraction between Lilly and Dylan is instant and boy do they steam up the pages definitely 18+ for the content but as their connection deepens both at work and personally people will try to come between them . Will there relationship flourish or will other peoples jealousy tear them apart You need to read to see what happens in this wonderful book

Who wouldn't love a built guy with tats all over? This story had me from page one. I loved the interactions between Lilly and Dylan. They just seemed made for each other. Lilly has her own personal fears she must overcome throughout the story. The twist in this story had me on edge. This is one you will want to pick up! It was a wonderful, sexy story of love!

I LOVED this book!! Great characters and a very intriguing plot, it held my attention the whole time. Lilly and Dylan have an immediate attraction. Lilly just came back from her vacation and Dylan is the new hire at the Tattoo shop she co owns with her brother. They soon overcome the hesitation of working together, and things get hot! . There's a few twist that tests their new relationship, that made it an even better story.

I really enjoyed this book. Dylan is a tattoo artist in Shane and Lilly's tattoo place. Lilly is finally home from college to help with the books and running the place. She and Dylan are immediately attracted to each other but take it a little slow. Not very though. Several people are jealous of their relationship though and cause major problem. The book moved swiftly and I loved the ending. I look forward to more of this author's books

From the first page this book intrigues and compels to continue reading. It paints a picture of a brother and sister who have stuck together through tragedy. Having eachothers backs as they both grow up. The book is an amazing read that has you loving the characters as they appear and you learn more about each one.

Great book. It's a wonderful "love at first sight" book. The chemistry between these two was smoking. The complexity of the family tattoo and the "unwritten rules" of love and the workplace gave the story a boost. I loved the flow of this story and the little bit of mystery. Very descriptive and loaded with very hot guys and sweet girls who are as tough as they men. Great read and I will definitely read more by this author!!

I really enjoyed this book. There is just enough personality details written in for each character; makes you feel like you really know them all. All the sexiness and drama are just what I like in a good nightime-reading book. I simply can't wait to read the next book in this series, I'm impatiently waiting its arrival!

Lilly and Dylan have an immediate attraction, Lilly is hesitant due to a past relationship that ended very badly – but soon enough she goes in with her heart and just WOW! This book does have a couple twist and I think that made it that much better..

At first glance what drew me in was the cover, then the title. This book was great. LOVED it. It combined all things I love in a romance book.

A really great book that had everything you could want. There was romance, sexual attraction, tattoos and drama. It was well written with excellent character development. It was a wonderful experience to read.

I love Dylan and Lilly's story. It's very catching and draws you into the book. This book was amazing and definitely a page Turner. I read it straight through without ever putting my book down.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I don't think it will be the last. I loved this book. I loved the characters and the development of their relationship. It was easy yet they fought for each other. Definite reread for me too.

I always love books with tattoo artists. I find tattoos an amazing way of expressing ourselves, and personally I want to get some tattoos in the near future, I just got my first one this week. So the first time I saw the cover and read the blurb I was immediately curious.

This romance novel about Lilly and Dylan, and I much say that as newly graduated young woman, I could relate to Lilly, although she already know what she will be doing and I’m still thinking about my options. Nevertheless, she was a fun character to read about. Then there is Dylan, and he was sweet, kind, hot, and determined kind of person, and it was refreshing to read about a piercer instead of just tattoo artists. Plus he was an ex-military man, which of course just adds some extra power to his personality.

That been said, I think the characters were well written, and I would love to read more books about other characters. I would love to read Jen and Maddox’s love story, there were so sweet and Jen was a firecracker, I would love to have a friend like her that knows how to tattoo. And then there is Shane. Can I read about about him too? He needs love. And there is something about him that is mysterious and I’m curious about it.

Besides the characters I loved the plot. Although the romance was sweet, but since this is a contemporary romance that is also in the erotic genre, it had some hot sexy scenes. They had chemistry and they really were very cute together, and you could see that from the initial attraction, their relationship started to develop and you could see they really cared about each other and that it wasn’t just attraction.

Overall I loved it. The plot was great, I loved the suspense because I wasn’t sure who was behind it all. And I recommend it, just keep in mind that it’s a erotic romance.

A Contemporary Romance novel with tattoos, great friends, sexy scenes and suspense that made me stay at the edge of my seat and want to read more, no matter if it was the mystery or the erotic scenes.

Since their success continues to grow so does their staff. Meeting Dylan was something she never expected since she had zero luck with men. Her past relationship still haunts her as she tries to have another. When a threat appears, he will do anything to protect her bringing them closer together reminding her there are good guys out there.

I received a copy of this ebook for an honest review. At the time I received it there were some grammatical errors, but they didn’t distract me from the overall story. But, I will say that Miss. Swegan has given us the kind of story I like reading. We get a good love story that has a few problems for the main characters, and then there is a little suspense/mystery thrown in that makes you question what’s going to happen. You get to learn, like, and feel for all the characters in the story. And then you get that HEA that you want. I can’t wait to see who, and what, Book 2 is about.
