Really interesting cookbook and story of the author and his wife's journey to health while living with PCOS. The pictures were beautiful, and the recipes look good.

This book also details the symptoms of PCOS, and the different phases of a woman's cycle. They have different recipes for each cycle, based on what the body needs.

I also really liked the 28 day plan of recipes to follow!

Thank you Netgalley and DK publishing for the ARC!

This is a sweet cookbook that involves information about Tom and Rachael, information about PCOS, and is a guide for what to eat to help with it. I’ve been watching them on TikTok for awhile and knew that I really wanted to read their book. It didn’t disappoint! It’s put together well and is full of useful information and cute pictures. I recommend it for fans of their channel, people looking for PCOS tips, or just people wanting some new food to try!

This is a really interesting cookbook that focuses on assisting with PCOS. It has great recipes in it, and it’s amazing that a couple were able to go on this journey led by the husband to find what worked for their family in having a child. Thanks DK books for this read as an ARC on Netgalley!

This book is so much more than a simple cookbook. Tom and Rachel you both have created a fantastic guide for couples especially ones with PCOS. The book goes over information about PCOS, the various stages and how the hormones fluctuate through her cycles. What I really loved was the breakdown of various cycle stages and the guide for foods to eat for what your body needs. Beautiful pictures and charts to make the information easy to follow and guide you through the process. The recipes are easy and simple to follow. At the end there is a 28 day meal plan suggested guide to try. I love that this is laid out easy to follow.

I’ve followed Tom and Rachael on TikTok since almost the beginning. It was beautiful to see them work together and how proactive Tom was in helping Rachael feel better and regulate her hormones. This book adds a bunch of small details and information that we never quite saw in the tiktok snippets of their journey. They both do such a wonderful job of explaining their journey and the techniques they use to help themselves and each other. This book is educational, sentimental, with a touch of comedy, and plenty of delicious recipes!

There was such care and effort into producing such a well researched and thought out book. Also, these recipes look YUMMY!

I have been following @MealsSheEats on Instagram for forever. I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic ovarian syndrome) when I was 21 and was basically sent on my merry way by the doctor without any guidance as to what I was supposed to do afterward. Only at the beginning of 2022 (at the age of 28) did I finally figure out what it was that I needed to be doing and eating to help balance my hormones and to help reverse the awful symptoms that come with this diagnosis.

The Meals She Eats Instagram page was a great source of meal planning inspiration this past year and I’m so happy to see them come out with a cookbook of their own! There’s not many cookbooks on the market centered around PCOS—trust me, I’ve searched everywhere!!—so this is such a big win for the CYSTer community. The couple also includes helpful tips & tricks and insights they have learned about PCOS throughout the years. This has good information and is a great place to start if you are struggling to figure out what to do!

I received a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was vaguely familiar with the Sullivan's and was pleasantly surprised to see this book.

The book covers the history of the couple the polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) diagnosis, and their fertility journey. The book includes a lot of information about PCOS and what a healthy menstrual cycle looks like. There's a brief acknowledgement that food isn't a substitute for medication when needed, but the focus of this book is food.

The book talks about the different stages of the menstrual cycle with recommendations of what to eat during each cycle. There's a lot of recipes in this book with some nice pictures. There's some modifications to recipes to account for a reduction in sugar and other foods, but there's also a lot of meat and shellfish so the recipes in this book aren't for everyone.

It's a nice book with some helpful information and some nice recipes.

I found this cookbook via the authors, social media accounts. With personal experience, needing to use diet to manage health symptoms, I’m excited to try the recipes. I’m glad they were able to find success in their fertility journey and hope this book provides guidance to other families in similar circumstances. Well written, beautiful layouts.

I was so excited to receive the ARC of this book. I've followed the Sullivan's on tiktok and Instagram for a very long time. I remember crying happy tears for them when they announced Rachel's pregnancy. I personally have struggled with infertility and PCOS. I wish this book had existed 15 years ago when I was first diagnosed. it would have made it so much easier me. This book is such an amazing tool for women. I have pre-ordered my copy and look forward to having a physical copy to have a reference guide as I regularly have questions. the recipes look delicious and I plan to make some soon.

This book suggests a way of eating for those with PCOS. The authors present an interesting idea of pairing a women’s cycle with eating to minimize the effects of PCOS. Having read a variety of books on this topic, this one provides the most unique approach. The recipes are a range of favourites tailored to fit the health needs of women with PCOS and most other women and men in general. This is definitely a book that supports healthy eating for the whole family.

I've been following Tom and Rachel on TikTok for a while and fell in love with them and their story! I was so excited when I saw they were coming out with this book. Not only is a cookbook but it has personal stories included too! I suffer from PCOS, so I found this book to be incredibly helpful and insightful! If you have PCOS, don't sleep on this book because it has a lot of great information and helps you to become more aware of your cycle and how you can use food to help lessen your PCOS symptoms.

Thank you, DK books, and Net Galley, for a gifted copy in return for my honest review.
