This is an absolutely beautiful book and is as useful as it is visually appealing. The watercolor illustrations throughout the book invoke a sense of calm all by themselves. I found myself wanting to start the journal right now but will wait until the book release in January!
I was originally drawn to this title because of the subtitle “you are not your thoughts.” I’ve been telling myself this for a while now due to my recently renewed meditation and mindfulness practice, but it’s not as simple as it sounds. I can see how the guided meditations and the questions for journaling in this book will make a huge difference in my life. Also, there is a scanner code that will lead you to a page for each of the guided meditations where you can hear the author guiding you through them, instead of just reading them. Unique and valuable!

The inclusion of QR codes on each page, leading to guided YouTube sessions, enhances the practicality and accessibility of daily activities. Additionally, the book features beautiful watercolour illustrations, adding an aesthetic dimension to the mindfulness experience. "Mindful in Minutes" would make a thoughtful and appreciated gift, making it a valuable addition to one's journey towards a more mindful and balanced life.
