The author has tried to distill his experiences for others to harvest such as knowing how to find the right mentor and working smarter framework useful. He has also explained concepts like competitive advantage in a manner that is easy to grasp for the layperson and that I think is the strength of the book - making ideas accessible, The illustrations in the book add to the ease of the read. The browfield, deadfield and redfield market were interesting as most of us are famililar with only green field. The worksheets and real world examples make it easy to relate to.Value to customer mapping and other useful ideas make this book more than just about failing fast. I found the chapter about replacing the mindset of working hard with working smart first before working hard interesting. The book is full of personal stories of the author, which can sometimes become tedious, but the learnings to be had from the stories are worth being patient through it.
