Description
It takes a while to know who you really are. And when you lose your way, sometimes it’s hard to find it again.
Charlie Hudson was on the verge of figuring that out when her dad—the only parent and friend she ever had—died suddenly. She was barely 18, and she was alone. So she went for easy—playing life safe, running away from a home that harbored nothing but bad memories and challenges and loving a man who would take her away from it all forever.
It’s funny how chance takes over when you need it most. And that’s exactly what brought Cody Carmichael into her life. A former motocross super star, Cody was now happy to be living the blue collar life, spending his days finishing up school and his nights under the hood of some classic car, just trying to keep everything his father taught him alive. Cody and Charlie were living parallel lives, until they finally collided. And the moment he smiled at her, Charlie knew he was the one who would change everything. But was she willing to take the risk?
Cody saw through it all. He saw her—all of her. But would letting him in be too much to take? And if Charlie let herself love him—really love him—could he love her back?

From the first page til the very end author Ginger Scott had me captivated with the story of "Blindness".
Charlie and Cody, two damaged people, lived parallel empty lives until they collide. Their journey was so well written that I laughed and cried through every twist, turn and obstacle thrown at them.
My first book by this author, "Blindness" was an unputdownable pleasure to read!

First off, I would like to say, that I loved this book. I would recommend this book to a friend in a heartbeat.
I couldn’t put this book down. I loved the writing. I thought the author did an amazing job describing the characters and I felt like there were real people. The main character had a heartbreaking story to tell, and it was told very, very well. I loved the fact that Charlie’s past wasn’t just shared with the reader and other characters right away. Just when we thought we knew everything about her, another bomb was dropped.
It pained me that Trevor was hurt throughout the story, but when I look back on it, he didn’t stand a chance. No one did, until Charlie found someone who caused her to want to be the real Charlie. And that person was Cody.
I also loved the other supporting characters, Gabe and Jessie. I was so excited and happy for Charlie when she became friends with Jessie. She desperately needed that friend in her life. Gabe and Jessie, I feel were an integral part of the story of Charlie and Cody.
I felt the sex scenes were extremely well written. Sometimes in romance novels, descriptions can get a bit...raunchy and unreal. This is one of the few romance novels I have read that I felt good about these parts of the story, and not kind of “dirty” while reading them. Thank you Ginger Scott.
The only part of the story that I didn’t like was the part when Trevor confronted Charlie and Cody about their relationship. I didn’t like that Cody took the lead, I really feel like it needed to be Charlie. It was an important step in her becoming truthful with herself and the ones around her, but she chickened out. I would have liked to see she come clean instead of Cody saying “I just get her” and that kind of stuff.

What a book! I was not expecting so much from this book. Two damaged people who were meant to be but with so much preventing it. This book was a big surprise! There was so much emotion in both Charlie and Cody's story. Loved this book!

Review by Brandi 4 Stars!
The cover and summary grabbed my attention immediately and I went into this book with extreme high hopes. Needless to say, I was not disappointed! Blindness was a roller-coaster of emotions that sucked me in until the last page.Within the first chapter I was hooked,by page 90 a sniffling mess and by the end I was riding an adrenaline rush! Scott’s writing has an addictive edge that made one chapter flow into the next and she accomplished making us FEEL the character’s emotions.
I am not going to leak any spoilers due to the fact that the reader needs to go in blind to get the full effect of this story, so I will not go into much description. However, I will say that there is a love triangle,a knife to your gut intensity that compares to our much beloved Thoughtless series. You know…where you want to pull your hair out and flip your lid because the risk these character’s take and the heartache it will bring?! Yeah,me too but I have to say that books like Blindness is why I love to read!
Read it,love it!

An extraordinary book about Life, Love, Pain and forgiveness. Its a book about personal development, the struggles between right and wrong, and how sometimes what you thought you always needed turns out to be the exact opposite.
Once I started reading I just couldn't put it down. A++
