It is so great to be able to read excepts from upcoming YA titles, rather than just short summaries! I really enjoyed getting a sense of some of the books coming out in the fall, and will be recommending many of them to my library's YA purchaser.

This is my first encounter with Buzz Books and I must say this is such an amazing compilation and a "must have" for any avid reader! Several of the featured books are now on my wish list as well as my list for upcoming birthday gifts. It's a wonderful opportunity to become acquainted with upcoming books that are outside of my typical genre of reading as well. Highly recommended!

It was great fun to get a preview of some of the YA books that are coming out in the next few months. There are several here that I am looking forward to reading. It certainly had the effect of creating buzz around some of these books in my head.

This is a great selection of upcoming YA titles. Each excerpt is the perfect length to let the reviewer know if that is a book that they would be interested in reviewing. Personally, I have requested quite a few books from this compilation after reading the excerpts. Anyone who reviews YA titles should download Buzz Books 2014: Young Adult. I'm sure glad I did!

Thank you netGalley! This was a great resource to read and prepare for new YA titles that will no doubt be popular with teen readers. I have made my WANT TO READ list. I recommend that anyone interested in staying current with YA literature read this book.

This book is an invaluable resource to bookish bloggers like myself. I found the excerpts to be the perfect length to see if the story was a good fit for my tastes and my blog. Nearly every book featured has a link to its NetGalley page. That was such a helpful and useful feature. Some books can be requested while others you can read immediately from the invite. There were several books that I requested/accepted the invite for.
This got me excited for what's coming up in young adult this year. I cannot recommend this resource enough!

Wow. this was such a great resource, It showed me books that will definitely be on my list to read and sell in store.

This is a really great sampler if you want to know about what's ahead in the Fall/Winter '14 publishing season. The preview at the beginning is super informative and breaks everything down nicely. I also really appreciate the links at the end of the excerpts to request the full title.

Some really great new books lined up in this editions! Especially excited to read about Vivian!
A well thought out and varied collection.

Wonderful idea - Just the right amount of excerpt to give the reviewer a good taste of the book to make an informed decision on requesting, and to hook them into the novel. Really enjoyed looking through this and though I won't be requesting, I will definitely look out for more titles like this on NetGalley, and I'm very much hoping there will be more!

As a (soon to be) high school librarian, this is a great resource to learn of upcoming titles AND preview them. This is a great way to see what trends are forthcoming in YA lit and develop lists for future book purchases.

This is a great book to find out what patrons might want to see on the shelves. As a person who is going to be in charge of adding books to the library's collection, this has been extremely helpful.

I was surprised at how much was included in this book of excerpts. The releases coming up in 2014 read so intriguing. This sampler is the perfect way to see what new publications will really capture you.

This is such a great idea! I love that things like this exist as a resource in the book world. It's so convenient and fantastic to be able to see a quicker version of tons of new release excerpts!

I really enjoyed going through Buzz Books: 2014 YA I Got to read a lot of excepts from different books and even found a bunch to add to my TBR shelf. This was very informative and helpful. I never knew there was a book/magazine like this and I am really glad I got the opportunity to browse through it!

This is a fantastic resource for any reader of Y.A. fiction. The included titles are representative of a wide range of genres and authors. As a book reviewer and teacher, I felt like I hit the jackpot. Each book came with a summary as well as an excerpt. What a fantastic way to guide a reader towards a new author.

Really love these collections, as it's a great way to sample several of the upcoming buzz-worthy titles! This is the first all YA collection, which is one of my favorite genres! I read at least part of each story, but moved on to the next if it didn't grab my attention.
Here are the ones that grabbed my attention and have been added to my wishlist:
*Vivian Apple at the End of the World by Katie Coyle - release date Jan 6th, 2015
*Talon by Julie Kagawa - release date Oct 28th, 2014
*I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson - release date Sept 16th, 2014
*King Dork Approximately by Frank Portman - release date Sept 9th, 2014
*The Accidental Highwayman by Ben Tripp - release date Oct 14th, 2014
*Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld - release date Sept 23rd, 2014
*Falling Into Place by Amy Zhang - release date Sept 9th, 2014
Some of these I've already heard of, but several are new to me and I might not have picked them up otherwise. That's why I love these samplers!

I loved this sampler, thanks so much for including books from so many different publishers and imprints. I've added so many of these to my TBR list!

This is such a cool sampler, I discovered so many books through this, including ones from authors that I love that I didn't know had new books coming out. I can't wait to read a lot of these and this was a great way to find books to read for my blog.

After looking through this book, I became excited about books I have never heard of. I liked that the whole book was dedicated to young adult, so the people who read this one will know what it is that they are getting into. It was very cool to have an excerpt for each of the books, so you can know if the writing was good, and if the story starts with a bang. The summaries were an appropriate length, and I'm glad they put the covers if the books, or you wouldn't know what it looks like when you go to buy it. Overall, this book was very well done, and I am glad I spent the time to look through it.

This is such a great tool for librarians looking to stay on top of the big YA books coming out this year. I love that the excerpts are decent-sized chunks, as opposed to just a few paragraphs or a couple pages.

Shared this with my students. They loved all the sneak peeks. I'm looking forward to the next Buzz Books for YA.

Although not something that I would order for my patrons, it is an EXCELLENT resource for upcoming titles. Anything that can help me keep ahead of my voracious teen readers is a must have! Thank you Buzz Books!

This book really helps a librarian decide what new books to include in the collection when ordering for the fall. It's an invaluable resource.

Thanks! It was very helpful to have a dedicated preview of upcoming YA books, instead of a few pages in the adult version.

This was an awesome little book that gave me a lot of ideas on what I should pick up this summer! I really enjoyed looking through this and finding new books that sound interesting and that other people have loved. Can you rate a chapter sampler? This one would get 5/5 stars!

As always, I love the Buzz Books every year. Thank you for this fabulous introduction.

Love Buzz Books! This is a wonderful concept that I hope will continue. It's a great way to browse many books in a short time making collection development more efficient. I'm making my list of books to recommend to the libraries I work with and can confidently talk about these titles with the library teens. Thanks for the opportunity to view this e-book!

Thank you so much for allowing me to receive this edition of Buzz Books. I am so excited for so many of these novels and because of the amazing excerpts I am now eagerly awaiting their release. I am especially excited for Becca Fitzpatricks latest novel Black Ice. The excerpt gave away just the correct amount of information to make me so very excited for a new series from the Hush, Hush author. I also look forward to Jandy Nelsons and Scott Westerfeilds latest works. I look forward to these novels being released in fall as the characters and worlds created in each of the novels captured my attention and my imagination. I am very excited for the release of these novels and hope they live up to the expectations this excerpt has provided.

As a parent volunteer for my son's middle school book club, Buzz Books is an invaluable source of upcoming books. I'm thrilled with the selections and can't wait to read them with the students this fall. Thank you for putting together this wonderful compilation.

A really like that is book is available. Being a librarian sometimes it is hard to stay on top of current materials, especially young adult books.

A great professional development resource. Especially handy to have if you've got staff that aren't as familiar with the YA collection and need to also serve that demographic.

Not only is this basically a check off list for librarians, but with the increased popularity in YA literature across the ages it's a great resource for everyone! This will be a great book to put out on a browse table. Fantastic for passive reader's advisory.

Very much enjoyed all of the information available in this book regarding Young Adult Literature. I have referenced this book for many reasons from personal use to professional use regarding my blog and my current position as a program developer for Young Adults at a city Library.
Very well put together. Everything was very well presented and there's a lot of variety. Would certainly purchase this book (and the others as well) for myself or for work.

Always helpful to get a preview of books to determine best purchases and potential bookclub reads.
