Description

Clairvoyant Psychology, a non-fiction book, describes in depth the process I use to weave clairvoyance into the psychotherapeutic session. The first section details a meditation process that helps my clients focus inward. I teach a three part meditation pattern. Grounding, learning to release, let go, open to new energy. Connecting to Earth Energy – infusing the nurturance and brilliance of nature.

Connecting to the Cosmos – tuning into our spiritual nature, guidance and divinity. We come to a vertical alignment sourcing from heaven and earth. This empowers us to access answers of which we were previously unaware.

The second section details the energy centers within, called chakras. Together we explore the hidden origins that underlie the current challenges. These are lodged within the core focus of the different chakras. The chakras are the ‘maps’ of my clients’ psyche. In health they spin, vitalizing the cells and the aura. Each has a specialized focus from the base of the spine on up to the crown. Ranging from survival issues, emotions, personal will, love and compassion, inner voice, clairvoyance, and spiritual wisdom.

The final section is comprised of transcripts of sessions to demonstrate how this weaving of clairvoyance, the chakras and meditation unfolds in the psychotherapy process.

Each client begins with some specific content in mind. As they describe their issue, pictures begin to emerge in the chakras in which the blocks are stored. These pictures are the roots to which the current challenge is connected. When the roots become exposed, the current problems become unhinged and begin to release. As a clairvoyant, I track the consciousness focus of my client and can guide them to the energetic blocks they are ready to reveal. These reveal themselves as darker areas, static pools, and tangles of energy. As our consciousness meets on these points, there is a deep recognition and the beginning of disentangling the core wounds.

This book was written from an accumulation of 40 years experience as a psychotherapist and psychic.

BOOK REVIEW
An unusual mapping of psychic clairvoyance onto the standard practices of psychotherapy.
“Each chakra in the body holds particular pictures and beliefs,” writes Feinbloom (Unwinding the Soul, 2005), referring
to the Eastern mystical belief in the energy centers located at various points in the human body. An exploration of
chakras leads to her discussion of “Psychic Psychotherapy,” which she calls a new approach to working out “the tangles,
cords, holes, and connections to past events that have imprisoned the primary creative expressions of the client.” Her
program will likely provoke skepticism in some readers, as it relies on making her patients aware of previously unknown
psychic abilities, such as “clairvoyance, telepathy, and clairsentience.” In laying out this schema, Feinbloom examines
traditional Sanskrit elaborations of chakras, explaining each in detail (“[c]ompassion is an essential quality of the fourth
chakra. In this we can see one another as children of God”). She then offers interviews and conversations with her own
clients, as well as citations from psychic literature. The patient sessions lend a human face to several of her belief
systems, which can be fairly complex, and they help to ground speculations in fact. As readers find out what the patients
are feeling in their own words, Feinbloom fleshes out her own thoughts on not only psychic healing, but also physical
healing: “There are [physical] addictions that we know of,” she writes, “such as drugs, alcohol, and coffee, and there are
emotional and energetic addictions as well.” Her interconnected spiritual/psychotherapeutic approach revolves around
the contention that her clients possess a much greater array of resources to combat their fears and addictions than they
suspect. That belief gives a strong element of optimism to chapters that might otherwise feel insular or unrealistic.
A challenging, highly unconventional approach to psychotherapy.

*****
Clairvoyant Psychotherapy is that rare new work that succeeds in beinggroundbreaking and both a professional and a consumer book.Susan Feinbloom’s approach uses traditional psychotherapy techniquesto aid her clients in probing the roots of their emotional difficulties. This is her foundation. It’s what happens next that I define as“groundbreaking.” In addition to being trained as a psychotherapist,Susan has also spent the past thirty years honing her skills as a clairvoyant. Thus, when she is with a client she is reading them energetically, which probes a more truthful realm than what we the client wish ordon’t wish to remember through traditional psychotherapy. When psychotherapy and clairvoyance are combined, the rate atwhich the client is able to accelerate straight through to their truth isincreased. The healing is not only quicker, it is deeper.Clairvoyant Psychotherapy has the potential to rattle the cages of traditionalpsychotherapy. If we accept that the goal of therapy is to be effective,Susan’s approach could help redefine the profession. At the veryleast it will generate conversation.

As a consumer, I found the book fascinating for I am always seekingnew ways to understand who I am as a spiritual being. I found it fascinatingto see how our spirit bodies can be read energetically for cluesto where our physical bodies are being blocked, and how our past livesinform our present-life behavior. By using clairvoyance as a therapytool, Susan is able to probe more deeply, more quickly than traditionalpsychotherapy.

Her writing is kind and approachable. Her explanation of the role ofthe chakras in therapy is one I’ve never read before. And the transcriptsof actual client sessions make concrete this form of therapy. It was fascinatingexperiencing what must have been moments of immense clarityfor her clients. I, the reader, could actually see each client’s moment ofpure insight, their breakthrough.

I didn’t know what to expect when I started this book. I found several statements to be very powerful. One is “We are responsible for our own reality.” She talks about emotional wounds not being the same age. When we get defensive about something the wound reacts at that age level. We have to break through this wounded pattern in order to move on with our lives. She also states, “There is no blame.” This is another powerful statement. Another is “Healing begins when we are willing to look at ourselves without defensive eyes.”

Section One introduces the reader to mediation, grounding and energy. The author believes meditation is the foundation of psychic psychotherapy. She also believes clearing the chakras will remove static energy that has built up in our bodies and open up to movement. In clairvoyant psychotherapy she looks at core beliefs, fear, original pain pictures, defensiveness, and the holding on to old energy of past imprints.

Ms. Feinbloom discusses the process she uses while working with clients. She correlates the pain or fear with the static in the energy field. She teaches a three-part pattern which includes grounding, connecting to the earth energy and connecting to the cosmos. She describes grounding as movement and the fluidity of energy. Her description of connecting to earth energy is earth energy as manifestation, fruition, flower and blossom. She describes connecting to the cosmos as the source of our information, guidance, and creativity.

In one example she gives a detailed account with a female patient. After grounding and releasing energy she could sense hatred coming from the woman’s mother. She hears telepathic screams. It was an expression of her mother’s torment. The woman had always heard the screams as a child when no one else could hear them. After treatment the woman was able to experience silence and peace.

Section Two has information on the seven chakras. She believes the chakras through meditation make up the map of her client’s psyche. She describes each chakra and what area each affects.
At the end of the discussion of each chakra she provides a meditation.

She gives another example of a patient. He man said one leg felt different than the other. After grounding and connecting to earth energy he could tell the difference of his relative’s energy within him. It represented that he needed to stand up for himself against his relatives. She gives him an exercise to do to connect with nature.

Section Three includes annotated transcripts from sessions with clients. These are stories of four women and two men and how they were able to acknowledge their obstacles and grow from the experience. The author does an amazing job showing us we can see so much more when we open not only our eyes but all of our senses.
