“Yoga helped me compete at the highest level of my sport well into my 40s. Many people think yoga is only for adults, but this book makes us realize that yoga’s benefits can now be shared with children as well, enabling them to enjoy life to the fullest by staying active and healthy starting early on.”

A wonderful book for parents or teachers to use to introduce yoga to children. Written in a way that will appeal to a younger crowd, with more emphasis on what the pose is suppose to look like versus how to do it, making it more enjoyable for children!

This was a cute book that had yoga positions for every letter of the alphabet. Each pose had a short poem to along with it and an illustration of the pose. I thought it was a clever book.

Such a fun book to read and practice! Definitely easy for children (and adults) to do; I look forward to teaching my niece with this book.

This is great way to help your child learn the alphabet while trying yoga poses. One or more poses, along with rhymes and an illustration are introduced for each alphabet letter. Some of the poses were ones with familiar names like happy baby and dog for downward dog while others were named to go with an alphabet letter.
The illustrations are very helpful; they show what the pose should look like.

A brilliant alphabet of yoga, told in rhyme With illustrations to help you every time To understand and help children try these Yoga positions on hands, feet, tim and knees!
Start off by being an airplane flying high in the sky A bridge, a boat or even a butterfly!
A dolphin, an elephant or even a fish This book helps you do every pose you could wish.
Instructions are given so clearly in rhyme Not to follow them would be a crime.
This book is fantastic, inspirational too Showing how Yoga can be easy to do.
So this is a great resource for young and old Making yoga instructions easily told I hope I’ve encouraged you take a good look At this really fantastic, inspirational book.
Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley too for giving me an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Absolutely adorable ABCs of Yoga offers ideas for child friendly poses, presented in sweet prose with charming illustrations. Solid 5 stars

I have been a long time practitioner of yoga. I shared this title with my daughters and they love to read the rhyming text and flow through the poses. This is a great yoga for kids title!

An outstanding book for kids.
I loved this book, the illustrations are gorgeous but depictive enough for kids to see the positions properly.
The descriptions are detailed enough to position the body properly but written in a way that a better reading child may be able to read it for themselves.
It's also written in a poetry kind of way that makes it interesting for children to hear and read.
It literally was an A-Z of Yoga poses all outlined and illustrated for children but I know that I will also use it for myself as it's just delightful to look at.
I have 2 children that often drag out my Yoga books wanting to follow them but I can't wait to show them this, they will love it.
A beautiful and thoughtful book.
