This is such an insightful book. It truly has you look within yourself and find what you are holding on to. If you are ready to take accountability for your emotions then this book might be useful in your toolkit. It is also something that I think would be great to have as a reference. It gives such great and relatable examples that even if it’s not the exact case for you it might be close. It helps you to see where you are in the forgiveness process without judgement of self.
If you are holding on to hurt then this might be a good place to start in order to heal.

ARC REVIEW
Dr. Michelle Wadleigh’s Forgiveness is more than a self-help book—it’s a compassionate, deeply personal guide to emotional and spiritual liberation. With striking vulnerability, she shares her own transformational journey, boldly stating, “Forgiveness saved my life.” And by the final page, readers will not only believe her—they’ll feel the possibility of healing within themselves.
This isn’t your typical how-to manual. Wadleigh masterfully weaves metaphysical wisdom with practical exercises, creating a flexible, inclusive roadmap for anyone navigating grief, trauma, resentment, or self-blame. She fully acknowledges that forgiveness is not a one-size-fits-all process. Instead, she offers scalable steps designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether you’re just beginning to confront old wounds or already working through the layers of healing.
The book shines in its structured yet gentle approach. From journaling prompts and reflection tools to spiritual practices that draw on universal truths, Wadleigh empowers readers to build what she calls the “forgiveness muscle.” This isn’t about rushing to absolve or forget—it’s about reclaiming your power, freeing yourself from cyclical pain, and making peace with your story.
One of the most compelling messages is this: Without forgiveness, we are destined to stay trapped in the same suffering. Wadleigh doesn’t preach from a pedestal—she walks with you, offering empathy, honesty, and hope. Her voice is that of a seasoned guide who has done the hard inner work and is now reaching back with a steady hand.
🔑 Takeaway: If you’ve been carrying emotional burdens, feeling stuck in past pain, or yearning for peace, Forgiveness offers you tools to finally begin letting go. With soul-deep wisdom and loving clarity, Rev. Dr. Michelle Wadleigh shows that forgiveness isn’t weakness—it’s freedom.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-read for anyone ready to release, reclaim, and rise.
