I’m pretty sure I would have done anything for an ARC of this book. The villain would’ve been proud. I have never screamed so loud as when I receive the email giving me the ARC. My husband thought I had lost it.
This is one of my most anticipated reads of this year. This series has me in a chokehold in the best way. And this one did not disappoint.
Not only was the constant back-and-forth between Evie and the The Villian everything that we expected and needed, we also got so much more. The tension was *chefs kiss*. This book really had me in my feelings.
I loved the multi POV. It gave us so much more to the story and characters. I love how it made the urgency of getting to the next chapter palpable as you wanted to keep reading and find out what was gonna happen and then bam you’re reading someone else’s point of view.
The last five chapters of this book had me losing my shit. I cannot fathom having to wait for the next book. Do not hesitate! Read this as soon as it is released.

This book was everything the readers could possibly want! I was so happy that the charm and humor we loved from the first two books carried over into this one. Evie totally unleashes her inner bad b**** and I am Here. For. It. The slow burn was burning, the banter was bantering, and the office relationshipS(!!!) were endearing. So many questions have been answered and many more remain to be unveiled. When I tell you this was EVERYTHING we’ve been waiting for, I am not lying. AND THAT EPILOGUE!!!!!!!
Hannah, you did it again. This was the best one so far. I am so excited to get my physical copy and have you sign it at Romantasy BookCon (@fabledfantasyevents ) in October!
If you need me, I’ll be kicking my feet and pondering the title of Book 4!
