A series of silly jokes and facts that pertain to Independence Day.

I think that kids will enjoy this one. It would fit well with around 3rd or 4th grade. I tried a few jokes on a first grade class and they did not get them...

Due to the timing of the holiday, I don't think I will add it to my library. We are out of school for Independence Day, so that will dull the appeal. I think this would be a great fit for school libraries that go year round.

I will look for some of the other holiday joke books though!

This was entertaining! I can see kids in upper elementary school loving these jokes and having fun sharing them with people. The tie in of historical facts is a nice addition as well.

These are perfect jokes for kids, age appropriate, easy to read and with fun illustrations. This is the kind of book I tortured my friends with when I was young by telling all the jokes and cracking up.

Well this is certainly a kid's book! Kids' jokes can be corny but that makes them more amusing, in my opinion, especially when the kids themselves are telling them. It's fun to see how they can get a kick out of them. This could well be the ticket for the kids in your life.

I found this to be a lighthearted, fun book that combines educational value with humor, offering tidbits of history regarding Independence Day. It finishes off with a glossary of Independence Day terms.

I believe any elementary school child will enjoy this book, more so if they are Americans.

My kids and I have laughed and laughed at this book! It is chalked full of hilarious jokes that they can’t stop repeating. So fun!

Around Independence Day, little kids will have so, so much fun with this book! I can picture it now - a kid reads this book ahead of a Fourth of July party. They fall in love with the jokes and laugh at them over and over again. Then, when the day of the party comes, they (lovingly) annoy their friends and relatives with these jokes and have the time. Of. Their. Life! In other words, this book is just going to be a blast of a read for kids, and they will likely remember the fun facts and jokes from this book. Speaking of, I want to give some credit to the author for combining history and humor in one book, while still having a cohesive idea. All in all, bravo!

A combination of facts about Independence Day and jokes but framed as a joke book will lead to more readers heading this way. The book is well laid out to encourage readers to not just check out the jokes. Pages have a good amount of text for reading but not too much. Readers will enjoy picking up this text to celebrate Fourth of July. A good pick for school and public libraries.

They were funny and had lots of history thrown in. Definitely for a much older child at least 8 or 9 i would think.

I am writing this on July 1, 2025 so Independence Day is almost here. For those of us who love America, and, c'mon, who doesn't, this book, written for the younger set (up to third grade) will fill the bill with facts and jokes which will delight. There is even a knock knock joke about July 4th with a good punchline (which I won't reveal here). A quick, short, accessible and fun read, with a well illustrated and photographed book, this is sure to delight this year and the years following. Get ready to join in the fireworks.

This cute book combines photos and information about The declaration of Independence with cute drawings and corny jokes that kids will love. I would recommend this book for any library or elementary summer school classroom. It is a perfect blend of education and entertainment for young students. It would also make a great gift for any youngster during the holiday. It would be perfect for a 7- 10 year old who likes history or loves jokes.
