This book is packed full of useful tips on recognising burnout and how to recover from it. It really goes into the science behind burnout and explains the physical effects of burnout as well as the emotional effects.
I really liked this book, it doesn’t promise to help you recover from burnout in 30 days, the recovery for burnout is a much longer process. As someone who has been experiencing burnout for sometime, recovering and relapsing on a regular basis, this book has been instrumental in helping me recognise my burnout profile. I will be using the tips recommended in this book, already I have started to implement mindfulness mediation. This is something I used to do regularly and I will be starting up yoga again, I love that the author has shared their own experience with burnout and that has made this book even more powerful. 5+stars from me highly recommended.

It’s one of the few self-help books that made me feel seen and supported.
