This is a gem! An uncomplicated synthesis of current information on being healthy and well. Not only is it presented in an easy-to-read way, but there are pro-active tips and information about how to incorporate good practice into our everyday life. Information is broken down into chunks, with tips and tricks for how to actually make the life changes in a simple way.
The flow of chapters is logical and goes from thinking about wellness, through mindsets and habits, to nutrition and movement, sleep, stress, our digital life, tracking, and so on. Most of the information is new, and it's sensibly presented to actually make healthy changes in our lives.
After a recent diagnosis (breast cancer) I understand what I need to do to minimise my chances of it returning, this shows me how to make those changes – and stick with them. I'm so impressed!
If you want to improve your health and ignore all the wellness-industry noise, this is a terrific tool to use.

Great little book. Written in a very compassionate and encouraging way. I have made lots of notes of reflection prompts for myself. If you have read extensively before it may not be so useful as it is a distillation of lots of contemporary ideas. But, if you don’t know where to start, or, you want everything in one place then this is a good investment. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
