50 Strategies for Learning without Screens is a must-read for ALL educators and administrators! I will be purchasing this title to include in my Professional Development library, as well as a copy for myself. There is literally an idea for everyone, every grade, and every subject (yes! even math!). I found new lessons that I will be incorporating into my own library lessons and collaborations with teachers as my school continues to move away from screens. I also love how it is strongly encouraged to use your school librarian! ALL of these ideas are attainable with the support of your school librarian, who is ready to work, learn, and grow with you and your students.

This is a great resource with lots of general ideas for how to help students learn without relying on screens. I appreciate the "why" at the beginning of the book. In my opinion, the book could have been stronger on the "how" with more specific suggestions - but I appreciated that there are some specific suggestions, and I also recognize that it would have to be a LONG book to provide specific suggestions for every content area. (The book has general tips for three different age groups, but 6-12 is a big age range with many different content areas to cover.) This is still a fantastic resource! Some ideas are familiar to me, but it was fun to get a few new ideas to try in my classroom as well. Thank you, NetGalley, Tom Rademacher, and Teacher Created Materials/Shell Education for the free eARC! I post this review with my honest opinions.
