Navira had spent her childhood trapped in a white-walled mansion until two magic-dealing pirates rescued her, granting her years of freedom at sea. A place he swore never to return to. For the gods still watch, and they’re not done with him.

To rescue her family, Navira and Benton will have to brave treacherous lands and seas before infiltrating the prison, all while avoiding the gods’ ever-watchful eyes. Benton must decide what’s more important – vengeance or friendship. And Navira must save her family before they succumb to a fate worse than death, whatever the cost. Even if that cost is her life.
