Everything from the recipes to general care of a cast iron skillet to the gorgeous pictures, this book is worth the investment for sure. As someone who has never actually used a cast iron skillet, well that was mine, I've used a friend's, but anyways, this was very informative all the way down to what type of skillet to buy and the different types that exist. I learned quite a bit about cast iron skillets and I think it's pretty neat how they work and why dishes cooked with them are so flavorful!
I'd highly recommend this cookbook for anyone thinking of getting a cast iron skillet or anyone who was given one or already has one and is looking for delicious recipes. As a vegetarian myself I learned that you can make more than just meat on it!
