I had so much fun reading The Little Hawk. Kat LeFay has an utterly beautiful book with an admittedly humorous and uplifting story that will likely send readers through a flurry of emotions as they watch this fearful baby Hawk face one of the greatest challenges of her life. This is a metaphor for growing up in general that I’m sure many children reading or having this book read to them will not fully understand at the time they are introduced to the gorgeous illustrations of this story. But it is one that will, I am sure, sit with them when they grow older.

Preparing children at a young age, in appropriate ways, for the challenges they are sure to experience in life is a continuous job that parents face through the entirety of their children’s youth. And I can say with confidence that this is a phenomenal book to read to your kids. While I wouldn’t go as far as agreeing with the final line, that the mother’s love is what truly made the young bird fly, it is certainly something that aids in developing those wings to be able to hold the weight necessary to succeed in one’s endeavors.

I loved this and I think a great many others will, too.

The Little Hawk: Join the Exciting Journey: A Delightful Adventure for Girls and Boys Ages 4-7. A wonderful picture book for kids.
by Kat LeFay

Little hawk needs to do the next step and fly on her own. But it is scary to do things the first time. Like children it's difficult to do new things you don't know until you try.

This is such a cute adorable quick children’s book, but I thought it was so cute and so fun. It teaches children to trust a parents even if they are everything in their hands. I also absolutely love the art style in this and I would hundred percent recommend this was so fun, so quick to read to children is really good and I would recommend
