"Do you ever read a story and then want to tell all your book friends to stop whatever they are doing immediately and read this book? Yeah? Well, that was me after finishing this book." Laura N. ~Praise for Crash and Burn, Love You Like A Love Song, Book 1
Claire Miller fell in love with Jake in the third grade. Life was on the fast track to perfect when he finally moved her out of his ‘friend zone’ their senior year. One hot night of reckless passion changed things between them forever. Jake rocked her world, but Claire had plans for her life. Knowing she could never be what he needed, she let him go and has missed him every day since. That was seven years ago. Plenty of time for Jake to fall in love with someone new, get married, and move on.
Jake Walker knew the first time he saw Claire, when he was nine years old, that he wanted to marry her. At seventeen, he let her go. But seven years later, the sight of her hit him like a punch to the gut. She was more beautiful than ever, and every cell in his body demanded that she was ‘The One’. But can he convince Claire?
Alone With You is a scorching hot, contemporary, new adult romance of 57,000 words. This is a stand alone novel with a HEA.

Loved this book so hard! I really didn't know what to expect when I picked this one up but I was totally blown away. This author's writing style is fantastic and the characters are incredible. Jack and Claire are two people you just know should be together and the love and camaraderie between the brothers is fun and very special. This is a story of a young love that was put aside for life goals. Claire wanted to see the world and pursue her archaeology career goals. Jake likes his life simple. He loves his land and horses and can't see his life without them. Now seven years later Claire returns to help her mother and she and Jake instantly reconnect. Walking away this time will be the hardest thing either one of them has done.
This is a fantastic book and I highly recommend it for everyone!! Looking forward to reading the other stories in this series. These Walker brothers are a pretty special crew!

Smooth, flowing with anxious anticipation and a depth of emotion that has your heart in your throat, and tears in your eyes; that’s how I would describe Alone With You.
This was a beautifully written story of love so intense it rips apart your soul and refuses to let you breathe even knowing that it can only cause you gut-wrenching pain and unbearable heartbreak.
The saying goes we must live with the choices we make, but can we ever really let go of what’s in our hearts? That is the question that Claire Miller is still asking herself as she boards a plane for an ill-fated trip back home, to be at her father’s side. Claire has successfully avoided returning to Colorado since she left 7 years ago, but she’s never forgotten the look of devastation in Jake’s eyes as she said her goodbye, and that’s a choice Claire made with open eyes.
Jake Walker has lived that past & years knowing no one will ever take Claire’s place in his heart. He tried to move on, but it wasn’t meant to be and then fate decided that he hadn’t suffered enough and took his beloved mother after a cruel battle with cancer. Jake loves the land with everything in his being, but he also wants Claire with a love so all consuming, it is shattering his soul.
Can a love that has spanned 16 years, countless miles of separation and two totally definitely ambitions, finally find common ground and a way to unite these ships in the night?
I absolutely loved this story and I’m sure you will too; but be warned, you’ll need to have tissues handy from very early on, and keep them by your side throughout.

This book is absolutely breathtaking. The prose is done exceptionally well. The imagery really shows the writer's talent. The characters are amazing. Jake and Claire have so much love for each other but sometimes love isn't enough. Real life forces you to see beyond the fairytale and when you don't feel the same about the most basic of life's choices, you have to prepare for it not to work. These MCs are in pain. You suffer right along with them. It's really heartbreaking but SO worth it. Jake is one of the most likeable MCs I've read in a while. Yes, he's sexy as hell. The lovemaking is seriously hot but he is so much more than that. His heart and his unrepentant emotions are what really made me fall right along with our heroine. His brothers are excellent supporting characters each bringing something unique and interesting to the story. I won't deny that I she tears while reading a particular brotherly scene. It was powerful. This author became an auto-read for me very easily. Highly recommended. Safety gang: No OW/OM though they had other relationships after their breakup. No rape/abuse. They always use condoms. They lost their virginity to each other.
